Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) honor program focuses on developing proficiency in accountancy, taxation and finance.
The program facilitates students to pursue higher education in management/commerce and also in perusing professional qualifications such as CA and ICWAI etc. The program aims at developing accountancy and finance professionals to meet the industry requirement in India and abroad.
Duration : 4 years ( 8 semesters )
The course of study is for 4 Years (8 Semesters). The candidate shall complete his or her degree within 4 academic years from the date of his admission to the first semester, however students who successfully complete 2 years of the course and leave the course, will be awarded Diploma in Commerce. The students who successfully complete 3 Years of course will be awarded Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com). An option is provided to the students to continue the course to the fourth year and those students who successfully complete the fourth year will be awarded Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Hon) (B.Com. (Hon.).

Eligibility : Students who have completed two year Pre-University course of Karnataka State or equivalent are eligible to seek admission to B.Com Degree course.

Objective of the Course
Master of Commerce (M.Com) is a post graduate academic degree which is awarded after successful completion of a two years program. The master degree course covers the study of principle of Accounting, Money and Banking systems, knowledge about business, trade and its characteristics and the policies involved etc.
In the final year the students opt for specialized study in any one fields of commerce such as taxation, marketing, accounting and finance, banking and insurance etc. Therefore the study of M.Com degree gives an insight of commerce and economics as a whole.

Eligibility : A candidate who has passed the B.Com Degree examination from recognized University and has secured not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate in all the Commerce/Management courses shall be eligible for admission. In the case of SC/ST students and Physically challenged students eligibility for admission is 45%.
