Alumni Engagement

Padmashree Institute of Management and Sciences organised an “Alumni Meet”, on 12th July, 2020, online through Zoom Platform. The program started with the formal inauguration by the virtual lighting of the lamp. Dr. K.Y. Reddy, Principal of Padmashree Institution of Management & Sciences, delivered the welcome address, and spoke about the value of the Alumni body for the Institute. He emphasized the benefits of building a mutually beneficial relationship between the current students and the Alumni. Some of the members of the Alumni shared the value of career resources and opened the platform for interactions with the current students. They shared their experiences after completing their respective programs and gave glimpses of the outside world with respect to building good careers for themselves. The Alumni made attempts to get along with their juniors, know one another and discuss their career aspects.

Ms.Dinu Raj, Assistant Professor, PIMS, gave Vote of Thanks and ended the session.

Padmashree Institute of Management and Sciences had organized an industrial visit on 22 August , 2022 to Unibic Cookies located in Mysore Road. The Industrial visit was organised by Prof. Seema Kumble & Co-ordinated by Prof. Anand Guled . We started travelling from the college campus via our college bus. UNIBIC came to India in 2004 with the iconic Anzac and Bradman cookies. Over the years, UNIBIC has grown its range to over 40 variants and has been regularly introducing fresh & unique flavors to cookie connoisseurs worldwide. Headquartered in Bangalore, UNIBIC is known for its rich and flavorsome cookies that take a bite of the premium cookie market.This Industrial visit is very helpful in our future practical Life & bring a positive change in our thinking & practical behavior regarding Education & specializing our technical skills.

We are thankful for all our faculties for organizing such an Informative event for us in crucial for development of our practical skills regarding tool & die making & other activities. We hope to get more chances further to have such an informative & wonderful experiences of visiting different industries.

An Industrial visit was organized with the permission Students were accompanied by all the Staff Members. All the students with Staff left the premises on 17^th July 2023 by the college bus .At Sunstorm International Trading Private Limited, have setup a large scale solar – energy product manufacturing unit, with integrated scientific research, production, sales and after sales as a complete offering to our customers.The Guide Mr. Virat was so informative we came to know many things about solar panels also about the process of making it, it was a very good experience.

Name of Company/ Industry:Mandya Karantaka Milk Federation(KMF)

An Industrial visit was organized with the permission Students were accompanied by all the Staff Members. All the students with Staff left the premises on 02 August 2023 at 1:00 pm by the bus. Mandya milk union having jurisdiction of Mandya District , it covers 7 Taluks, It is one of the leading milk union in the state of Karnataka. It was registered during the year 1987, Before registration, Mysore and Tumkur milk union was procuring milk from Mandya district dairy co-operative societies. At the time of registration the union milk procurement was 99000 liter per day through 410 dairy co-operative societies now the union is procuring 9.03 Lakh litre per day through 1281 dairy co-operative societies. The new Mega dairy Plant installed with the capacity of 10LLPD(can be expanded to 14LLPD) and 45 MT Powder Plant capacity at Main Dairy. Students were shown departments wise. Students were briefed about the work culture and overall functioning of all the departments. There were many boards to keep the employees always informed. The maintenance was very good and hygienic. The guide cleared all the doubts of the students in detail. Students learned many practical aspects of company are working during the visit. This visit helped students to bridge the gap between theory and Practical. This visit will also help students’ in future practical life and bring change in their practical behaviour regarding education and specializing their skills.
