Kumuda YR

Assistant Professor

Kumuda is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management at PIMS, she holds a MBA in HR from VTU, her teaching interests are in the area of Organizational Behavior, and experimental designs for behavioral research. Her work explores the area of incivility and mistreatment at the workplace among frontline employees. Her industry experience spans in IT & Non Recruitment companies, with her substantial experience she provides development programmes for students through intense classroom sessions as well as through Massive Open Online Courses. Her teaching philosophy is oriented towards providing state-of-the-art practical knowledge to serve the students interested in pursuing techno-management careers.

Research Interests:Employees’ response to uncivil behaviors at the workplace, bystander interventions, ego depletion, and workplace loneliness.

Chandrashekar H

Head of the Department - UG Finance

Chandrashekar is an HOD in the Department of Commerce – UG, expertise in Finance and Accounting area, he is the recipient of several awards and honors, includes Best Faculty Award from Shri. S.Suresh Kumar, Minister Government of Karnataka. He has served as academia for close to 14 years in various roles, including but not limited to team management, strategic assistance to inter-departments.

His contributions also include the liaison with Bangalore University for any correspondence, also serve as BOS and BOE member of other leading institutions, affiliated to Bangalore University.  He is committed to build partnerships and enhance collaboration between the business sector, and the Government in Finance & Accounting area.

Roopesh Kumar is currently the Head of the Department (HOD) for the BCA program at PIMS. He started his teaching career since 1998 as an Assistant Professor at various colleges, overall possess 26 years of teaching experience. His contributions are not only limited to teaching, but also in developing the curriculum, managing the department, and working with industry partners to ensure students get practical knowledge. He is also an awardee of Certificate of Merit from the Osmania University for his performance in the postgraduate course and Secured Scholarship from GOK and MCI. Roopesh’s primary research interests include Database Management Systems (DBMS), Computer Architecture, Computer Networks, Data Science, Mobile Application Development, Internet Technologies, and Computer Security.

He stays updated with the latest developments in these areas to ensure students receive a modern and comprehensive education. He also focus on providing practical and real-world knowledge to students. Aiming to prepare prospective students for the challenges of the tech industry and help them succeed in their careers. Raju Krishna Kishore is an Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Applications,

An accomplished professional with 3.3 years of combined experience in teaching and the industry, he is serving as an an Assistant Professor dedicated to fostering learning and innovation in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and related fields. With a solid academic foundation, including an MCA and B.Sc in Mathematics, possess expertise in statistical analysis, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, and advanced analytics tools. His tenure in education and practical roles has honed my ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets, deliver data-driven recommendations, and drive strategic decision-making.
Naresh have contributed to academic advancements through innovative projects like text recognition using deep learning and image enhancement using iterative pipelines. Assistant Professor HRM, Marketing and Counselling Psychology

A dedicated academic professional with over 6 years of experience in higher education, specialized in HRM, Marketing and Counselling Psychology. As an Assistant Professor at PIMS, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students. Also developed and delivered a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, emphasizing on innovative instructional methods and the integration of technology in learning.

Her research area interests include HRM, Marketing  and Psychology analytics. She has a credit of publishing more than 10 articles in  National and International in reputable peer-reviewed journals, contributing significant insights to my field. She has also participated in reputed national and international HR conferences.

In addition to teaching and research responsibilities, she has actively participated in departmental service and university committees, contributing to curriculum development, academic advising, and community outreach programs.  Also very passionate about fostering an inclusive academic environment and committed to professional development through continuous engagement. She additional holds a responsibilities with scholarly communities, with student council committee, Counsellor – MBA department and member of Advisory Board of Committee at VTU.

Research Interests: Current research interests are in emerging trends of Clinical psychology predictive analytics in HR, use of Artificial Intelligence, and emerging talent management practices in the changing context, Organisational behaviour.

Prof. Seema brings over 15 years of rich and diverse experience in academics and the corporate sector. Her expertise spans Finance, Accounting, and Taxation. She is a UGC-NET and K-SET-qualified professional, further accredited with certification from Swayam (IIMB). She has completed her PhD coursework at the University of Mysore and has published research papers in both national and international journals, in addition to holding a patent.

As the Head of the MBA Department, Prof. Seema oversees curriculum development, ensures quality education, and fosters a culture of excellence through innovative teaching and research. She bridges the gap between academia and industry by organizing guest lectures, workshops, and other collaborative initiatives.
