B. Com

The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) program is designed to provide students with strong foundational knowledge in accountancy, taxation, and finance.

It equips students to pursue higher education in commerce and management fields, and prepares them for professional qualifications such as CA and ICWAI. The program aims to develop capable finance and accounting professionals who can meet industry demands in India and abroad.

Duration : 3 years ( 6 semesters )
The course of study is for 3 years (6 semesters). Upon successful completion of all six semesters, students will be awarded the Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com).

Eligibility : Students who have completed two year Pre-University course of Karnataka State or equivalent are eligible to seek admission to B.Com Degree course.

Business Studies & Accountancy Mandatory Subjects

Objective of the Course

Master of Commerce (M.Com) is a post graduate academic degree which is awarded after successful completion of a two years program. The master degree course covers the study of principle of Accounting, Money and Banking systems, knowledge about business, trade and its characteristics and the policies involved etc.

In the final year the students opt for specialized study in any one fields of commerce such as taxation, marketing, accounting and finance, banking and insurance etc. Therefore the study of M.Com degree gives an insight of commerce and economics as a whole.

Duration : 2 Years (4 Semesters)

Eligibility : A candidate who has passed the B.Com Degree examination from recognized University and has secured not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate in all the Commerce/Management courses shall be eligible for admission. In the case of SC/ST students and Physically challenged students eligibility for admission is 45%.
