The Debate competition on the day of Gandhi jayanthi Organised by student council committee on 14^th October 2024.

The competition featured two compelling topics:

• Gandhi’s Views on Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development (Section A)
• Gandhi’s Philosophy of Simplicity and Its Relevance in Modern Business (Section B).

The participants were given 5 to 7 minutes for their speeches, followed by additional time for rebuttals and questions. Judging criteria included content quality, organization, clarity, engagement, rebuttals, and persuasiveness. Faculty members served as judges, ensuring impartial evaluations.

Key highlights of the competition included the well-prepared arguments, respectful conduct among participants, and an engaging Q&A session with the audience. The topics encouraged students to explore Gandhi’s ideologies and their modern-day challenges.

The winners were announced at the end of the competition and given E-certificates. The event lasted for an hour, from 3 PM to 4 PM, and concluded successfully, leaving the participants and audience with valuable insights.
