Placement Process
General outline of the Placement Process of PIMS:

Orientation
The Placement Team, along with faculty members, conducts an orientation session to share information about the placement process and guidelines with students.

Data Capture
The Student Career Development and Support (SCDPS) Team collects data from all students across various parameters to assist in the recruitment process. To ensure alignment with company requirements, a consolidated Data Capture Format is used for gathering and organizing student information.

Student Mapping
The Career Advisory & Placement Services Team interacts with students to match them with suitable job opportunities. Based on this mapping, the team analyses students’ interests and invites recruiters accordingly to align with their preferences and career goals.

Placement Training
All students applying for campus placements must participate in the Campus Recruitment Leadership Training Program. This program includes in-house training (covering aptitude, group discussions, mock interviews, etc.), guest lectures, workshops, and alumni interactions to enhance their skills and preparedness for the recruitment process.

Recruitment Process
The recruitment process may be adjusted based on the recruiter’s request. If the number of applications is low, the company may choose to conduct the process at their own campus or an alternative venue, depending on their preference and convenience.

Final Selection
Once the recruitment process is complete, recruiters must submit the final list of selected students. After receiving confirmation from the recruiters, the successful candidates will be notified.
